          I took 3 pairs of these with me on a 1 year around the world trip 2002-03. I wore them every day. I washed them or had them washed locally (Africa, India, Thailand, Fiji, etc) often after a few days of hard use in very warm climates. Since returning I have worn them (I did get a couple extra pairs recently) exclusively for work where I am on my feet ALL DAY. Six going on seven years later I am still wearing some of those original socks. For me they are absolute perfection.

            I use these socks for my daily runs and casual wear. These socks tend to last up to 4 years being worn once a week and washed.
            I've purchased cheaper socks at half the price years ago and they didn't last more than a year.
