Comments about Ruff Wear Hover Craft:
this is hands down the best frisbee that I have used for the dog. Our little shorthair mix loves frisbee but he goes through them like junk through a goose. I usually get no more than one session out of the cheapo ones and only a couple out of the expensive ones. Kong ones fly like junk and dogs do not like them. This one flies far and stable and it is super durable. Have had many sessions and it flies as good as new. I would highly reccomend this to any frisbee dog's human.

Comments about Ruff Wear Hover Craft:
I think this is the same as the "Life is Good" disc. It is easy on dogs mouth, good for training dogs that are new to the disc game. It doesn't fly as well as the plastic discs but it is visible in the water. Reflective stripe is visible if you have your headlamp on. I prefer the Discuit and Gummabone Frisbee because they fly better, but they are easy to lose in the water, so I use this one in the water.

Comments about Ruff Wear Hover Craft:
The redesign of the frisbee has given it much better flight time than the original. However, it is also now much more sensitive to wind, which isn't always a bad thing: if you throw it into the wind, you can get some extra float time (eg, at the beach).
When it gets wet, it gets heavier and floppier, but still performs OK. It actually performs better in windy conditions when it's soaked!
My son uses his w/his dog frequently, and it has "puncture marks" all over it but still works very well. It's definitely an "interactive toy" and not meant as a chew toy, though!

Comments about Ruff Wear Hover Craft:
Bailey, our 2 year old labradoodle, loves the Hover craft. He did manage to tear it but still plays with it. He also tore the lining out of it but it flies just as well without it. I am ordering him a second one since he took the first one camping and now we need one for home.

Comments about Ruff Wear Hover Craft:
The configuration and materials of this disk are top-notch. I've also found that the customer service of Ruff Wear is top notch. The bad news is that I needed their Customer Services. After just two sessions of catch with my dog, the bottom layer of nylon delaminated from the pad that is sandwhiched between the layers. Makes it really annoying to throw and fill with water (as a water bowl). I called the toll free number, and the disk is being replaced... shouldn't have happened in the first place, of course. But lots of credit to the company for replacing it. Would have been five stars if it did not delaminate.

Comments about Ruff Wear Hover Craft:
Great frisbee for dogs. It is soft and therefore easier on the dog's teeth. It's pretty easy to throw although it doesn't go as far as a plastic frisbee. This is also great for retrieving in the water.
