Comments about Park Chain Gang Cleaning Kit:
There are some nice things about this kit and some not so nice things about this kit. The nice things are that the system cleans your chain very nicely and easily. You can also use the cleaning fluid for other greasy stuff on your bike and it works like a charm.
The problems are that the cleaning fluid bottle is horrible. I store it in my tool kit lying down and it leaks like crazy (covering all my tools in the stuff). Also the actual chain cleaning tool has some pieces of foam which tend to come fall off.

Comments about Park Chain Gang Cleaning Kit:
I found the plastic to be stress crack sensitive to paint thinner and citrus solvents. The body and clamp lever notches cracked after a couple of uses. Stick to the solvent Park supplies (or maybe detergent and water?) Functionally, this is the best chain cleaning tool I have used. If only they had made a more careful choice of plastic it would be a total winner. The handle wedges into its slot and seems to make the problem worse. Also, it tends to spill the solvent but practice using it will cure this.

Comments about Park Chain Gang Cleaning Kit:
i've had the park tool chain scrubber for around 7 years and haven't had a problem it. i have had to clean my mountain bike and commuter bike chains often, this does it with great ease. park tool offers a replacement brush/sponge kit to keep your cyclone cleaning!

Comments about Park Chain Gang Cleaning Kit:
I take great care to clean my chain whenever it gets dirty. Typically I remove the chain with a quick link, soak it in some cleaner and scrub. Works the best but is time consuming. I have used this cleaner 4 times since purchasing it, and am impressed how well it cleans. You can use any citrus degreaser or dish soap to clean the chain; note that you might have to change the fluid 2-3 times if very dirty. Another great feature is the magnet that sits in the reservoir. I'll still take off the chain and soak if the chain is very dirty but for inbetween cleanings this is perfect.
