      Comments about Extreme Alpinism:

      This is a good book to open a climbers thoughts on safety to include speed. Twight's analysis of alpine climbing and new thoughts are a good challenge to any avid climber. His ego is rather thick at times, but his stories are fun to read. Not a book for hikers bagging 14ers.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
