    Although not the absolute best hat on a super hot day (it doesn't breathe well, the vents are just too small) I'm tempted to buy a couple more and stash them away in case they disappear! I looked for something like this for years and never managed to find anything affordable until this came along. I absolutely love this hat.

    I wear it just about everywhere these days.

        Felt hats loose their shape and become water logged, not with this hat and the brim stays rigid. With the vents this hat never feels too warm. This is the perfect foul weather hat, for super cold climates a liner might be required.

        Greatlooking hat - totally watertight. Great up to 50 degrees. But - it shrinks after a few rains. And it gets really hot on warm days (over 60) when the sun is out.

        I got this at the REI garage sale for members and got a great discount! The strip that goes around the hat looked like it had been glued on which I could probably fix anyway. Overall it is a great hat and I like to wear wherever I go. I haven't gone hiking, climbing, etc. with it yet so I don't know if it has good sun protection. Plus it is the same style hat that Indiana Jones wears; LOL, for all Indy's fans. It is a bit expensive though but I personally got it at a super discount!!!
