The Croll is a classic ascender used for caving; unlike the Petzl Basic, it is not intended for self-belay.

  • Designed to attach between the seat and chest harness, its unique shape allows it to lie flat against the body
  • The Croll has a slightly redesigned body shape that permits easier insertion and removal of ropes between 8 and 13 millimeters
  • A cam lever with knurled surface makes operation easier, especially with gloves on
