Comments about No Rinse Shampoo - 2 oz.:
I use this product on camping trips where we don't have access to showers. Being a city girl, it's hard to imagine not showering for 5 days. This shampoo and some body wipes keep me feeling clean. Even on day 5, my hair looks and feels shiny and clean. I couldn't make it without this product.
I have long hair so I do use quite a bit to get my hair wet. However, someone suggested putting it in a spray bottle for more effective distribution so I'll have to try it. By the third shampoo, my hair gets a bit stiff (maybe because I use so much) so I just rinse it out with one 16-oz bottle of water and that does the trick.
For those with longer hair, you may want to buy bigger/more bottles if car camping.

My stepdaughter is in Tin, Burkina Faso (West Africa) with the Peace Corps for two years. It is hot, hot, hot (over 100 this time of year). She has no running water and a latrine. A two-room house and sleeps under mosquito netting. You get the picture. I am always looking for products she can use to "get clean"! I of course try them out first, and this one is excellent. I think she's going to really love it!

Use this all the time camping. When your out for 5 days and can't take a shower, this really refreshes your hair, gets the grease out, and makes you feel human again. This product is always with me out in the woods.

Wow... I can't believe it really cleaned my hair without leaving a mess. Just make a lather and wipe it off with a dry towel. Easy to use. It's actually like regular shampoo with a lot of water mixed, so I wonder if you can make your own... For a 2 oz. bottle, I think you can only use it for 3 or 4 times because you need to pour out a lot for each wash (with long hair).

This stuff work pretty good and is definitely a great thing to have in camp, but a couple things I have noticed.
If you have a sensitive scalp (like I do) it can be a bit itchy, especially if you start sweating.
Because you don't completely rinse it out, there can be a small bit of residue if you don't towel dry adequately enough.
I have found that I get the best results when I use a generous amount (about 1/2 of the 2oz. bottle), and either mix it with 1 oz. of water in a spray bottle and towel dry very well, or rinse it off with 8 ounce of water.

This shampoo is great for those times when you're away from a shower but just HAVE to get that fresh feeling. I use enough of it to get my hair and head drenched. Work it in well, massaging your scalp. Then towel dry starting at the roots. Once your hair is dry, it will be fresh, soft and shiny. And you'll feel so much better! You can feel pretty and still enjoy the wilds!

When there is not a shower or bath available and it is just too cold to take a dip in a lake or stream, this stuff helps make me feel halfway civilized again.
