      This is NOT a survival kit. Would you bet your life with this?? If your need a REAL survival kit, buy "Adventure Medical Pocket Survival Pack" also sold by REI. It cost more, but it gives all the basic essentials.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
