This is the only stuff i can honestly say works. I picked up my first pack in Yosemite out of interest. I used it on a long heavy haul up to do a big wall. Wow that rhymes! Anyways, it worked great even though the climb didn't...stupid rain. The next day i was not sore a bit. I was able to jump up and get ready for "work". The only set back i could think of, is that it made me pee a lot more then usual. But that can be normal. So i wouldn't use it on a rock climb. But i can see where backpacking and hiking would be great to use this.

I use this for marathon training and longer bike rides (I'm a roady). Tried 6 or more different drinks when I started training for my first M. Cytomax had the best flavor and was not syrupy like many of the others. I like it best on warm to hot days so I can hydrate and refuel at the same time, alternating with gels or the occasional sports bar. With 19 gm of Carbs, it mixes well with the gels to hit that 55-60 gm / hour for the longer events. I just wish they had another size between single serving and the 27 serving tub because I like to change the flavors around.
