I have used this pump for water toys you would pull behind a boat, for river rafts, and also for air mattresses. It works and does its job for all these, but it does not seem to push much air. After extended use, the cloth air sack can tear, and the plastic hose can crush easily, or pop out while pumping. This pump makes a lot of noise while pumping. The metal rings that fasten around the cloth sack are what cause tears in the cloth, due to friction.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Sevylor Large Foot Pump:

I got this pump to use with a GSI kitchen counter for camping, all it needs to do is pump air into a water container so that the water will flow up to the facet. It does just what I got it to do. It does make noise, but what do you expect? It's no so noisy that your going to loose your hearing over it. It's a great little pump.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
