The Venus 11.0 is the first sit-on-top specifically designed for women with larger than average frames.

  • Store keys and other belongings in the 6 in. cam lock hatch with storage bucket

    Hands down this is the best kayak for fun! It is well-designed and beautiful.Easy to get in and out of while in the water. We try standing on top for fun!Only bad thing is that the seat has NO BACK SUPPORT. So.....buy a support belt from Ocean kayak (about $50-60) or a new seat. I love my kayak!

    The Venus allows me to get out on the water any time I want to go. I can easily load the boat onto the roof of my car, and can carry it on my own from the car to the river, intercoastal, or lake. The Venus gives me the freedom to paddle when no one I know wants to go. I don't like it in the ocean, but my son does, so you will have to check that out for yourself.

    I have owned an Ocean Kayak for years. They are super tough. You can drag them over rocks and drop them and they won't crack like fiberglass or wood.

    Can leave these out in the weather and they can take it.

    These are the most popular kayak brand for beginners.

    They do weigh a lot, but they make up for it in strength and durability.
