    I originally bought this too for a trip to Dom Rep and now I use it for the gym and all of the school conferences that I travel to. It is small and light so easy to pack and absorbent. Needs to dry thoroughly in between uses (I have to wash it every 2 or 3 times) to prevent a malodorous "wet rag" smell.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    Great towl that saves a lot of space and dries very quickly. I have three of varying sizes. The buckles that close the loop leave a lot to be desired. On all three of my towel, they do not stay closed and constantly pop open.

      I love this towel, I bought it for an upcoming trip, but I already use it at home on a daily basis. I plan to buy another to keep on hand- would be great gor gym/pool bag. Don't forget to dry it- could get smelly.

        Purchased 2 (green and orange) for myself and the husband. Both of us are tall (he's 6'3" and I'm 5'9") and we find they are very absorbant, even for the non-petite. We have taken them to the beach, on camping trips, backpacking, to water sports activities and overnight stays at people homes. We find them easy to pack, lightwieght and convenient. The corner tab allows for hanging from a canopy, closet, shower etc for quick drying. My sister found ours so convenient she bought one for her gym bag and uses it daily.

          I had been wanting to try this type of towel out for a while, mainly for backpacking and camping. It virtually eliminated the bulk and weight associated with a packing a towel. Dries quickly, wrings out easily. As a bonus I recently used it at a triathlon, because of how quickly it sucks the water off you, plus the bright orange helps to find your bike in transition.

            For a soldier getting ready for the field or deployment, space is a big commodity, and this towel is perfect. One also never knows when he's going to get out of the shower then have to pack up and move ten minutes later. With this towel, one doesn't have a soaked piece of cloth in his bag. It dries in now time.

              This is a great camp towel. It soaks up a HUGE amount of water and dries quickly. It also comes with a great little ventilated bag.

                    An absolutely necessary item when travelling. I recently went on a 6-wk trip to a remote area in the Dominican Republic - fine for drying after shower or beach trips. Absorbs well. Dries quickly. Excellent for packing - lightweight and saves a lot of space - a must-have for airline travel. Will be packed for camping trips too!
