    Comments about Garmin Forerunner 101:

This is my first fitness oriented GPS unit and I love it for what it does, what it weighs and the easy of its set up and use. Prior to purchasing the Forerunner 301 I would put my Garmin GPSMAP 76CSx in my fanny pack and head off either on a run or on my bike. It does a good job at mapping and tracking but lacked the heart monitor and the easy of simply looking down at my wrist for instant feed back. Plus it is a brick compare to the Forerunner 301. This unit does everything Garmin claims it will and after numerous excursions with it I can’t believe I ever ran without it.

One thing I don’t like is the extended time it takes to triangulate the satellites, but I’ve learned to use this time to actually do some stretching that I normally would have skipped on. Great product for the price that is for sure
