Comments about Dr. Bronner's Dr. Bronners Organic Liquid Soap - 32 oz.:
This soap works well, as others have commented.
My two cents: if you use for camping/backpacking in small portions (say a squeeze bottle, half ounce), the nozzle/thing that drips the soap may dry out and become clogged. Not a big deal, grab a small stick, stem of grass, etc and clear out the blockage. Just be aware of this and don't squeeze your bottle too hard if the soap does not flow, you will burst the tube.
The soap "block" is still water soluble so use it when it comes out like a worm., so use it to clean as normal.
Just a heads up.
I use this for backpacking and like it.
Happy trails!

Comments about Dr. Bronner's Dr. Bronners Organic Liquid Soap - 32 oz.:
Bronner's soaps are simply the best, a good natural soap that's not full of junk that is bad for your skin/body. I've used as shampoo, body soap, shaving, teeth brushing, and dish washing and it works great for all of those. At home I dilute pretty heavily for hand washing which makes it last a very long time. Dr Bronner also makes a product called Sal Suds which is awesome for household cleaning.

Comments about Dr. Bronner's Dr. Bronners Organic Liquid Soap - 32 oz.:
I travel with Dr Bronners soap in a 2 oz nalgene bottle. Use for both shampoo and soap. Works great. Does not dry out skin like regular soaps or shampoos can. I bought a 32 oz bottle from REI about 10 years ago and am just finishing it up now. I have used it as toothpaste while camping and it works fine. Doesn't really taste like peppermint. I'm a frugal shopper and can recommend Dr Bronners soap as an excellent value.

Comments about Dr. Bronner's Dr. Bronners Organic Liquid Soap - 32 oz.:
My sister in law turned me onto this product in 1975 - I have tried other products but always come back to Dr. Bonners - it's the only soap that makes me feel really clean all over. It only takes a little bit to make a good lather and is not bad for the environment. I felt really fortunate when I found it for sale in my local grocery store (look in natural foods).

I used Dr. Bonner's for 8 days and found it to be a poor dish soap, especially in cold water; it is ok for personal use. [...]

Comments about Dr. Bronner's Dr. Bronners Organic Liquid Soap - 32 oz.:
I use this soap everyday to brush my teeth and use it when i get a chance to bathe. As a soap it is great! As a toothpaste it is so so for me. I build up alot of plaque and even though it gets most of it off i still have to brush for a long while to get it all. The taste takes a bit to get used to as well. It smells great, takes oils, dirts, and grime off my skin well and with a bit of lathering it keeps my hair from being nasty. Even though i still try and not bathe in streams and bodies of water, i wont feel guilty when i absolutely have to. Another thing i like about it is that 8oz in a small screw top bottle will last for WEEKS if you bathe every other day or so and brush your teeth everyday.

Comments about Dr. Bronner's Dr. Bronners Organic Liquid Soap - 32 oz.:
I was introduced to this product over the summer while at camp. Not only does it work incredibly well, it is biodegradable. I worked on Torch Lake over the summer and I did not take a conventional shower one time in almost 3 months. All I used was DB's in the lake and I was still cleaner than half the people there. We kept bottles of this stuff at the end of the pier and made the campers use it before going to see their parents. The best part is their parents thought their kids had been showering everyday because they smelled so good. This is a very good investment. I bought a gallon jug over 6 months ago and I have only used 1/3 of it. GREAT PRODUCT!!

Comments about Dr. Bronner's Dr. Bronners Organic Liquid Soap - 32 oz.:
This is a great soap. It's simple, eco/animal friendly, and long lasting. It can be a little harsh in the dead of winter, but what soap isn't. It rinses clean right away and leaves no residue. I've never used it as toothpaste, but apparently you can. For hiking or travel it's easier to pour a little into a tight container to transport.

Comments about Dr. Bronner's Dr. Bronners Organic Liquid Soap - 32 oz.:
Dr. Bronners soap packs more uses per ounce than anything out there. I've used it for washing myself, washing dishes and even brushing my teeth (but just a drop!). The peppermint scent is by far the best, especially if you plan to use it on those chompers. Lavender breath just doesn't seem right.
Tip: Try putting it in a dropper bottle. On a three day backpacking trip, for example, I can bring only 0.5oz worth and it's more than enough.
