    These plates are perfect! With a larger group (8 people) going into the Boundary Waters every year, we needed something small and light, but perfunctory. I don't know what folks expect for a "compact" dish set-- normal size? Nope. It's compact. Fits inside our REI camp pots & pans perfectly, so storage is quite simple.

      Comments about Open Country Plastic Compartment Plate:

      Picked up a set of these plates for car camping and weekend hiking trips. While the construction is adequate, the overall size of the plate is only about 8 inches across, so it's pretty small. Worse yet, the dividers make it unusable for anything other than feeding a small child. Think TV dinner sized compartments. On the bright side, it would make a great toddler's plate.
