Comments about Blackburn Trakstand Mag Bike Trainer:
I love this trainer and had no problem getting the resistance I wanted. Maybe I just am not a pro like others but it beats riding in the rain of Oregon during the wet months.

Comments about Blackburn Trakstand Mag Bike Trainer:
I could not get the resistance hard enough for a good work out. Even on the hardes setting in my hardest gear the resistance was moderate at best. My wife liked it but it was returned.

Comments about Blackburn Trakstand Mag Bike Trainer:
I use this about 3 times per week and am overall satisfied. It's a little louder than I expected, but it is very smooth.

Comments about Blackburn Trakstand Mag Bike Trainer:
I've only used it twice with minimum resistance and it significantly wore out my rear tire. I still have to figure out what the advertisement means by, "Three levels of magnetic resistance". It has a knob on the rear to gradually adjust resistance, but not necessarily at three specific levels. Did I set this up wrong?

Comments about Blackburn Trakstand Mag Bike Trainer:
This is a good trainer for beginners. It has three friction settings set by a knob on the side. I've heard some complaints that you can't get enough resistance with it. I have no problem with it ... most of the time. If you set it too hard on the tire the roller has a tendency to wear the tire down. It also wears the tire if you don't have the bike perpendicular to the roller. You're only supposed to set the roller hard enough for the tire to spin it, most riders will set it too hard. It's very stable. I'm very happy with the product.

Comments about Blackburn Trakstand Mag Bike Trainer:
I owned this trainer and returned it to REI after test riding because I could never get enough resistance. Nevertheless, the ride was quiet, and it might be a good trainer (especially now that it's on sale) if you just want to spin, rather than train.

Comments about Blackburn Trakstand Mag Bike Trainer:
This was all right, I was kind of disappointed. I rode while reading/doing homework so I could do two things at once and when it was raining out. I couldn't get enough resistance and when I tried to get more resistance out of it, it rubbed off the rubber on my back tire and wore it down. I had to buy new tires.
