Comments about Kelty Coyote 80 Pack - 2011 Closeout:
The Kelty Coyote is a terrific pack for the price. It's comfortable, easily handles large loads, and stands up to some pretty tough abuse. I love the multiple exterior pockets which are great for organizing smaller items and don't lose volume when the rest of the bag is stuffed - makes getting to your water filter, maps, snacks, binocs, etc. a cinch on long hikes.
There are only 2 things I don't like about it; 1) it's on the heavy side at over 5 lbs., and 2) the mesh water bottle pockets wear too easily (3 holes in the 2 years I've had it).
I also have an 85L Deuter pack and still can't decide which one I like the best. I definitely liked the sale price of the Kelty better, that's for sure!
