Five Ten Blackwing Climbing Shoes - Women's - 2012 Closeoutis rated4.0out of5by6.
Rated3out of5byeverythingoutsidefromRuns smallThese shoes look really nice. Good materials and all. Very aggressive. The largest size was a half size up from my street shoe and was way too small. I would order at least a full size up if they went any bigger.

Rated5out of5byCConRocksfromAwesome shoeI bought these after climbing in Miura VSs for the past two years. The only other Five ten shoes I've climbed in are the moccs so I was hesitant to switch my performance shoes but couldn't pass up this price. I wear a street shoe size of 7.5-8 and a 36.5 in the Miura vs. I got these in a size 8 and it took some straining to fit them on the first time but after two weeks they fit nice and snug. Make sure and give them a chance to stretch out or they might be bigger than youd like later.
As is notorious with FiveTen, the heel cup is a little baggy. This is kind of a bummer, honestly. The rubber is good and I like the sensitive feel. They're slightly less stif than the Miura vs. The aggressive fit is great for bouldering and steep sport climbs. Of course, not the most versatile. I'm definitely happy with my purchase at $85. For full price, I'd still go Miura vs.

Rated5out of5byLilBuCacfromSnug but not unbearable! Before buying my size 7s I was thinking about ordering a 7 and 7.5. Luckily the store had them in stock so I was able to try both on. My street size is 6.5 and sizing half a size up was perfect. It's snug as all new shoes but it'll be broken into. Prior these I was climbing with 5.10 Coyotes which I bought in my street shoes size. I have completely broken into my Coyotes and they're now too loose on my feet. I Velcro them up past the ends and my heel is still slipping out. The Blackwings are a bit more aggressive also so it's a bit more uncomfortable at first but I'm super stoked to have them. They're a great deal at the Clearance price and definitely not as poorly sized as described by others.

Rated2out of5bydanielle-in-ABQfromRun waaaaay smallSaw previous reviews about these running small, so I bought my street shoe size. No chance whatsoever of jamming my feet in them. The look like good shoes. I'm going to order two sizes bigger, but maybe even three.

Rated4out of5byhollfromSize UP 1.5-2 sizes. Possibly more?DISCLAIMER: Never got to climb in them!
My street shoe size is a 6.5
Based on reviews elsewhere, I ordered a 7 and a 7.5
My feet barely fit into the 7.5s and I could not feel my toes. I tried to stretch them out with hiking socks and patience, but I think an 8.5 might have been a better idea.
I returned them and gave up since there's no REI nearby me. At least not close enough to justify reordering and risking another terrible fitting experience.
Sizing aside, the shoe itself looks like it would perform really well--IF you could get it to fit. The rubber looks/feels great, but I did not actually get to climb in them...since the sizing was way off.
