Rated5out of5bySoldier SarahfromBest Shoe for My NeedsThis is a great shoe. Great arch support, heel support, and perfect for the beginner runner. It is not meant to be a completely waterproof shoe because it uses Gore Tex, which is a strong water resistant, but breathable fabric. It will keep your feet dry in moderately wet conditions, but don't go puddle jumping. Being in the military, we learn how to use Gore Tex properly and how to take care of the fabric. If it gets soaked, it will take some time to dry, but you can use the dryer on low setting.

Rated4out of5byDeeHookfromGreat ShoesThey arrived very quickly. I usually wear a 7 1/2
comfortably with socks. I ordered a size 8 because
I've worn Brooks before. The size 8 fits perfect with socks. The arch seems to be a little higher than I'm use too be it wasn't uncomfortable. They are roomy in the toe and slightly narrow in the lace area. I wore them for 12 hours yesterday and they were quite comfy!

Rated5out of5byHikerDykefromNo complaints after many miles!I use these several times a week hiking in woods, hills and rocky trails. I have found them to offer excellent traction in wet conditions. Will be getting another pair when needed. I switch between Brooks Cascadia 7 (3 pairs owned) and the GTX and prefer the GTX entirely now.

Rated5out of5bynomfreakfrompleased - would buy againI run in these shoes 4-5 times per week, in wet and dry conditions. I have enjoyed them and have not noticed any leaking or too much wear. I am planning to buy them again, or the next model, for next year. They also look good with regular clothes, so in the winter, I kind of just wear them all the time, since it rains a lot where I live. By the way, I don't have these in pink, I have the green ones. I don't think they are different

Rated1out of5byNWgal6fromDisappointing all-around!I bought these last fall in hopes that they would keep my feet relatively dry while walking the dog in the wet Seattle winter. They functioned well for the first month or so, reliably keeping my feet dry on damp pavement, through shallow puddles and wet grass (unless it was a downpour and water came in over the tops, of course, but that's not the shoe's fault). However, after a month or so of daily wear I started noticing water seeping in around the toe box and balls of my feet, usually when walking in wet grass. This continued to slowly get worse until now they aren't waterproof for more than a few minutes.
They also take FOREVER to dry out... even with insoles removed and shoes unlaced/opened up, it is a couple of days before they are dry again! You can imagine that this has created a very special stink that none of my other non-waterproof running shoes have (they also dry faster, by the way - more breathable I guess!). These shoes also show a surprising amount of wear around the heel cup.
I will not buy them again - I would rather have wet feet in my regular sneakers than pay extra for wet and stinky feet!
