The barefoot-inspired Merrell Road Glove road-running shoes let you run naturally, while offering a thin layer of cushioning and protection for logging your miles.
- Synthetic leather and mesh uppers create tough, flexible and breathable barriers around your feet
- Lacing system is anchored by welded thermoplastic urethane, ensuring a snug fit
- Rubber toe bumpers and forefoot shock absorption plates guard against bruising
- Synthetic leather slings around the back of feet add stability
- 4mm thick EVA midsoles provide cushioning; shoes feature a 0mm heel to midfoot drop to encourage a more natural strike
- Vibram® Road Glove nonmarking rubber soles offer excellent grip on the road

I run 6 miles on trail conditions 5-6 days a week. I purchased these shoes to replace my Brooks Pure Connect (which were great) because I really like running in a light-weight, minimalist shoe.
These shoes are certainly light and minimalist, but I found that they did not fit well. First, the sizing is about a full size larger than what I am used to. Second, the end of the shoe (where the toes are) does not have a curve like most shoes with a longer area where the big toe is located. Instead, this shoe has a "u" shape curve, which I found caused my toes to shift around.
Despite the name "Road Glove", these shoes definitely do not fit like one.
