Comments about Outdoor Research City Limits Beanie - 2012 Closeout:
Here is finally, finally, finally a beanie that won't ride up and leave your ears partially exposed. I have a big head and that is continually a problem I have with beanies. This hat avoids that by having a stretch thread around the bottom that keeps it tighter than the rest of the hat so it stays caught under your ears, but not uncomfortably. I wear this when I am going to be sweating and need it's air permeability to allow my hair to stay dry. Great when switched off during stops with a burlier hat or combined with an insulated hood in the winter backcountry. Part of my year-round gear now, as it handles warmer temps better than windstopper or thick wool.
