The Brooks Green Silence men's road-running shoes boast 75% post-consumer recycled material construction and a smooth, lightweight ride that allows your natural stride to shine.
- Uppers feature 30% recycled PET mesh and polyester mesh construction and use water-based dyes; synthetic leather overlays help protect uppers
- Secure a snug, comfortable and supportive fit with the aysmmetrical lacing system, which uses 100% post-consumer recycled PET
- Biodegradable foam in collars ensure comfort; polyester/nylon linings provide excellent moisture management to keep feet comfortable on the run
- Heel counters help provide support and are also constructed out of recycled materials
- Removable insoles are made of biodegradable EVA and offer cushy out-of-box comfort
- Midsoles feature a polymer alloy foam, which provides cushioning, energy return and reduced foot fatigue; nontoxic additive helps midsoles break down in landfill
- The Brooks Green Silence men's road-running shoes feature low-profile outsoles that use 30% recycled rubber

It's really too bad Brooks discontinued this model. It's my first pair and so far they've performed excellently on 6-8 mi runs. They are superlight and feel a little splashy making quick turns on light trails but are perfect on road or pavement.
