Great pack for carrying a few snacks and a bottle of water!
I was looking for something to keep some essentials handy while carrying my son around town. As a dad it is hard to find a small pack that doesn't boil down to being a 'man purse'. This pack is both masculine enough and has some nice use features that make it my go to bag when I need to keep my camera/water/snacks for my son handy.
Favorite feature: When slung over your chest you can rotate it to the front and have easy access to the contents and then just tug it back around when your done. Works great and I can't express my satisfaction at this small bit of functionality.
Slight misgiving: This bag is large due to the substantial sling strap relative to it's capacity. This is a very small pack yet will not pack down efficiently as it is almost 50% strap and 50% pack.
This is not a daybag (hiking style) as it is really a small bag, but as a minimalist it is just the right size for carrying a few extra things around in comfort.
I am very satisfied with this bag for those "need more than my phone/wallet/keys days out."

I generally do not like carrying things in my pockets, so I usually use a backpack or briefcase. Unfortunately, in crowded places, backpacks can be easily opened. For such occasions, I use this bag. You can wear it with the compartment in front of you, and the zippers have the security latches on them. The security features add weight, but I am OK with this trade off.
