I use the Edge 810 for training and long distance rides. The Edge 810 connects to my iPhone and from the iPhone to the Internet and Garmen
Connect. I can invite others to follow my progress live during a ride. This allows my wife to know where I am and if there is a problem where I stopped. The increased peace of mind for both of us is worth the price.
