I sent it back the day after I got it. I was looking for replacement of my Mountain Hardware Windstopper jacket that I loved. This coat wasn't what I was expecting. It is a cool RAINCOAT, but didn't have the warmth I was seeking. For adventure hiking in the rain, this jacket probably would be great. I got a TNF Apex Bionic instead and have been happy.

This jacket is described as a waterproof soft shell, but it is really much closer to a regular shell. It has slightly more give than a regular shell such as a Mountain Light, but not much. It is nothing like a true soft shell, such as the Apex Bionic, which is very stretchy. The Jammu is a well made shell, but don't expect it to be flexible and stretchy like a soft shell.

This was only available in the Outlet store. Looked very nice so I put it on my Christmas list. The jacket fit great through the shoulders down to the waist but the arms were huge! Looked all baggy and bunched up. Reminded me of the fit of many of the rain jackets. Shame becuase it is a good looking jacket. I returned it.
