From the description I gathered that these were supposed to be used for cycling. They have a reflective strip sewn into the interior of each leg near the bottom, which indicates they're supposed to be rolled up so that the reflector can help visibility. But the pair I ordered, which was in the size I usually get, was laughably huge on me: too wide, too long, and too loose everywhere, and ultimately totally unsuitable for cycling.
