Comments about Byer Tahiti Hammock - 2012 Closeout:
I got this on sale, and for the price it's not a terrible purchase. However, there are some things to keep in mind.
First, this is a very narrow hammock. That makes it difficult to enjoy comfortably.
Second, because of the narrow cut, it leads to some pretty severe shoulder pinch at times.
Third, I don't get the impression that it's all that durable. I've had it for about a month now, and it's already starting to look a little suspect in the seams.
Fourth, because of the narrowness, it rolls horribly at times. You have to be very careful getting in and out, and I can't let my younger kids go near it alone.
I gave 2 stars simply because it's better than nothing, and for the sale price it's ok. But I suspect that it won't be in my yard all summer.
