The well-built Kelty Coyote 80 pack offers an adjustable suspension, great organization and durable design at an attractive price.
- S-shaped shoulder straps contour your body for a comfortable fit without chafing or rubbing
- Removable, dual-density foam hipbelt features a polyethylene reinforcement that evens out pressure against your hips, providing comfortable load support
- Sternum strap, load-lifter straps and belt stabilizers help balance the load; pulley-like Scherer Cinch™ doubles hipbelt tightening force
- Rip-and-stick adjustment allows the shoulder straps to easily slide up and down on the pack's frame to fit torsos of various lengths
- Ventilated and padded back panel offers breathability and comfort
- Lightbeam™ II stays attach to the hipbelt for direct load transfer; center anti-barreling stay keeps the back panel flat even when the pack is overloaded
- HDPE framesheet adds load support, stability and shock absorption
- Top-loading design features front zippered access, making it easy to reach all corners of the pack
- Main compartment features a sleeve for a hydration reservoir and drinking tube ports on lid (reservoir sold separately)
- Removable, floating top lid converts to a lumbar pack for forays away from base camp
- 2 spacious zippered side pockets, 2 mesh water bottle pockets and a large zippered front pocket with organizer keep all of your often-used essentials handy
- Daisy chain and ice-axe loop let you lash trekking poles or tools to the outside of the pack

Bought this mostly for an overnighter in the mountains. Great design, really good quality construction, plenty of gear loops, handles, straps, adjustments, etc. Belt pockets/pouches are handy, but need to be a little larger. Could use another zipper for bottom compartment access, but well-thought design with lots of features. Extremely comfortable. NOTE: I'm 5'-9+" and pretty heavy so I bought the large frame and I had to adjust it almost all the way down to get the right fit - and it has lots of height adjustment. If in doubt, go smaller rather than larger.

The pack is adjustable, and has a lot of pockets to help break up the storage. The down side is three things: missing straps below to attach a light item (it has loops) no clip on harness to hold your hydration pack line, and pack opens only from top and front, not way to access the bottom without having to unpack. I am taking this to Philmont in June.
