The Mountain Hardwear Lamina 35° sleeping bag uses an exclusive insulation designed to provide high loft, durability, softness and compressibility. It's great for damp, cold weather.

  • Lightweight Thermic Micro™ insulation is manufactured to produce a consistent, dense sheet of insulation that eliminates cold spots
  • Slightly wide cut gives you extra room to move inside the bag; comfort mummy cut efficiently maximizes warmth without constriction
  • Insulation is laid in a wave shape, enhancing loft and increasing thermal efficiency; offset welds keep the insulation in place
  • Welding stabilizes the fill instead of sewing through the bag, eliminating moisture penetration points and maximizing loft
  • Insulated draft tube extends to bottom of bag to eliminate cold spots; insulated zipper gusset seals in warmth at base of zipper
  • Full-length, 2-way zipper with locking slider is backed by wide, antisnag binding tape
  • Face gasket and ergonomic draft collar seal out cold air
  • Comfort footbox is shaped to allow feet to rest naturally; shape preserves loft and allows insulation to drape close to feet for more warmth
  • Interior zippered pocket at shoulder is great for stowing small necessities such as your watch or lip balm, alleviating middle-of-the-night fumbling
  • Comes with nylon compression stuff sack and mesh storage bag
  • European Norm (EN) is an independent third-party temperature rating, allowing accurate comparisons across brands with other EN-rated bags

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Lamina 35 Sleeping Bag - Regular - 2012 Closeout:

I got this sleeping bag so I can camp for my fieldwork. I tried out the bag and overall the bag is cozy, but I had to get used to the mummy style. The feature I didn't realize I would enjoy is the extra space for your feet. The only complaint I have about the bag is the length. I am 5' 6'' and the bag is slightly short. I still fit in the bag but I would suggest if you are taller than 5' 6" get the longer bag.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Lamina 35 Sleeping Bag - Regular - 2012 Closeout:

I love this bag. It compresses very small, is super light, and is comfortable. The one issue I've had is the zipper. It seems to go out of its way to look for snags. Once in and zipped up, the bag is great and adjustable hood works well. So far only used at Miguel's Pizza (if you know, you know), but it dropped to 35 degrees two nights in a row and I was perfectly comfortable.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Lamina 35 Sleeping Bag - Regular - 2012 Closeout:

I have really enjoyed my lamina 35. It's been a very comfortable bag to sleep in most conditions. I had to wear under layers in some situations (outside of the bags temperature rating) to sleep well.

The fill is some of the nicest I have felt. It always has good loft and is as soft as a good down bag. Fortunately I haven't had any problems with the zipper and baffle as others have. I just zip slowly and lift the baffle at the same time.

A great bag! Buy one if you get a chance.
