This feels like a light sweater, but it has saved me on more than one occasion. I can wear it outside on a cold windy day, and it definitely blocks more wind that one would expect!
I love it's breathability, the fact that I could wear it on a date, to pilates, on a hike, and it works in all those situations!
Definitely worthwhile, especially with the wool sustainability!
