With a customizable hipbelt, the Osprey Argon 110 pack is a large load hauler for expedition backpacking with impressive weight transfer, saving your back and shoulders from strain.

  • AirScape backpanel features 3 sections of ridged foam and a central air chimney for increased ventilation
  • BioForm CM™ A/X hipbelt has heat-moldable laminated foam and internal seams providing a personalized fit while relieving hipbone pressure
  • Lightweight, removable hydration sleeve converts to a hydration pack for day-tripping (reservoir not included)
  • Removable top lid has 1 compartment with a waterproof zipper and lash-on points; converts to a lumbar pack with AirScape lumbar pad
  • ReCurve suspension—with an HDPE framesheet, 2 aluminum stays and dual aluminum rods—optimizes fit and load transfer
  • Running down the sidewall, ReCurve aluminum rods create a pretensioned lift mechanism, actively transferring load to your hips and resisting sag
  • Load-lifter straps act with ReCurve rods and framesheet to draw load snug against your back for increased control and stability
  • Gender specific, the interchangeable, laminated dual-density shoulder straps adjust easily to fit a man's shoulder and chest contours
  • You have complete access to the main compartment with top-loading and zippered side-access design
  • Externally accessible, wide-mouth sleeping bag compartment accommodates large synthetic bags
  • Side pockets, 1 zippered and 1 mesh, keep essentials handy, and they double as slots for hauling skis in the traditional A-frame style
  • Compression wings securely compress the contents of the pack whether full or nearly empty, without sag or load distortion
  • Wings buckle across the front when full; for small loads, connect straps to buckles at the edge of the back panel, cinching one panel over the other
  • Stretch-woven front pocket for quick and easy stashing

Osprey Argon 110 Pack - 2012 Closeoutis rated4.3333out of5by3.
Rated4out of5byfromSizingThe size chart in the REI specifications is incorrect- it states that the XL fits a 20"-22.5" torso (curiously identical to the L size). The XL is actually sized for a torso > 22".

Rated5out of5byfromGreat Pack Great Customer SupportI've used this pack for several years now and found it very durable. Additionally it is very adjustable, if you take the lid off and use it for a fanny pack and the hydration pouch out and use the supplied shoulder straps, you've got a great day hike setup using the components of the pack itself.

Rated4out of5byfromSolid bag to carry EVERYTHINGI bought this bag for work as a wilderness guide. I needed to be in the field for three or four weeks at a time and was responsible for carrying all my own stuff, as well as a fair amount of group gear / paperwork / electronics / etc. This bag is a beast and was easy to overload, but in my line of work, I needed all the space I could get. I was pleasantly surprised how confortable and adjustable the bag was even when fully loaded. The only downside is that one of the side zippers broke within the first week. Another zipper on the brain broke around week 25 in the field. Despite that, I am pleased with the overall durability of the bag. I really beat that thing up. Nice work, Osprey.
