The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Novara Express 2.0 Bike Pants - Women's:
I ride a recumbent bike exclusively and was looking for pants that would block the cold New England winter wind to the backs of my legs and my backside, since traditional bike pants block the wind only from the front, which does not help a recumbent rider. I thought these pants would be the perfect ones to block the wind and I could wear long johns underneath for added warmth. I ordered two sizes to ensure best fit. However, once they arrived neither worked. The medium was way too tight in the thigh area, which would make it not comfortable when riding. Granted, I do have large muscular thighs, but you would expect a pant that was designed for those who are at least somewhat athletic to account for this. So, then I tried on the large that I had also ordered. The thighs were still too tight, but the waist and hips were so large that the pants slid off even when just standing still. I returned both and have now found a place that sells pants designed specifically for recumbent riders...but for twice the price. These pants would have been great if the thighs had been more generously cut. That was literally the only reason they went back.
