Comments about Maui Jim Dorado Polarized Sunglasses:

These represent my second attempt at getting away from Native glasses which have let me down repeatedly. Julbo's didn't cut it either.

So far I'm very happy with them other than the price. The lenses are large and cover more area on my face than I expected, including my eyebrows. I purchased the non-asphalt/grey pair and am happy with the optics performance. There seemed to be a slight bit of magnification/distortion when I first put the glasses on but I adjusted quickly. They perform well in low light and I was expecting that on bright bright days they wouldn't be enough - I was pleasantly mistaken. To give you an idea of the lense opacity, while they have a slightly reflective surface you can still see a persons eyes through the lenses. Good for making eye contact with drivers perhaps.

In all, a great set of glasses other than the price tag.
