by seym56fromA good productI bought this for my hiking trips. During hiking season I will be in the wilderness for 2 to 4 days at a time before I'll see a electric outlet. Pared with my Goal Zero solar panel that I have hooked to my backpack I only need to use the windup charger if its a cloudy or rainy day. I have found though that the battery will only fully charge 1 device before it needs to be recharged

by HunterGathererfromPower stored or createdThis hand crank power device is very high quality.
I love to charge it at home via USB, then take it with me on the go. When I need to power up my USB device I just plug in and let this dump charge to my iPhone or headlamp
On multi-day trips, I charge my phone from 70% up to 100% then crank this a little to build up the stored power. I can tell how I am doing by the 'fuel gauge' on this unit.
In worst case scenarios, I have cranked for a minute or so and gotten a few crucial minutes of talk time.
I wish this Turbine 2000 could charge tablets, but the output amperage is not high enough. It does smartphones and most other devices just fine though.
