  • Carve off some shavings from the Tinder-on-a-Rope stick then spark the shavings with the FireSteel 2.0 Scout fire starter to quickly get a fire going, even in damp weather
  • Tinder stick is made from montezuma pine stumps with an 80% resin content
  • Stainless-steel striker on the FireSteel 2.0 Scout features an ergonomic grip for easy striking; striker provides 3,000 to 12,000 strikes
  • Pulling the stainless-steel striker down the rod emits 5,400°F sparks that can ignite a stove, paper, dry grass or bark
  • Rod also features an ergonomic grip to improve performance
