we used this amazing do-it-all stroller to stroll, to run/jog, to cycle, to XC ski. we love it for all of these things. the only thing it doesn't do is convert into a spaceship and fly to the moon - so we are deeply disappointed about that (i'm of course kidding :)... let's see what's not to love? it is (1) really fast and easy to change between the kits. (2) it has infant inserts that worked really well for us. we used the infant sling and the infant supporter. (3) we love all the features. we bought additional add ons like the basket on top and the fenders.

we use it generally all the time to do anything outside and we really like the customer support from both chariot carriers and REI. they've been nothing but informative and helpful when it came to any questions or issues we had. and we brought it to REI on a couple of occasions to get looked at/inspected for said issues and were instructed on certain things we couldn't figure out.

in NYC we've received lots of comments. some parents want a version of it for themselves to ride in. some parents look at us with disgust b/c it's too large. but it really is an amazing looking stroller that is build REALLY well. the pod is surrounded by titanium and protects the child really well.

so the too large thing - in small spaces, i would not recommend using this stroller. and yes doorways are a challenge. it's really meant to be used outdoors in an activity, not strolling, however you can use it to stroll. we did, but found that our umbrella stroller is easier to deal with in those cases or we just baby-wear in a wrap or pack. however nothing else protects the child better from the elements than this! rain, sun, snow, and if you're active - this is it.

in nearly any temp (hot or cold) and for many activities for the active parent - this is a must have. we didn't get the hiking attachment b/c the hiking paths we go on are very narrow with lots of scrambling so we use the deuter child comfort carrier III (also got this from REI) instead with lots of success. we just did not feel comfortable taking this chariot hiking with us.

we've used this since nearly 3 months old til current which is now 2.5 years old. we'll continue using it til she's 5 or 6 and we hit the weight limit and she starts doing these activities on her own (XC skiing, cycling). hope this review helps you in your decision!
