Comments about Big Agnes Air Core Sleeping Pad - Long Wide - 2012 Closeout:

I use this up to 10,500 and it has always been a warm sleep. I wanted the width because I don't sleep well when my arms are dangling off the pad. I had the smaller version which was great other than that. I would like to see them make it shorter too as not everyone is tall who wants more width. A bit heavy compared to some but I love to sleep well. If you don't have any sleeping issues then the smaller version will do you just great. So yes I would recommend this to a friend and purchase it again.

Comments about Big Agnes Air Core Sleeping Pad - Long Wide - 2012 Closeout:

Well, I had a REI Stratus sleeping pad that was comfy and packed well, but quickly started to leak and after a couple of trips was unusable. Then, I got the more expensive Exped pad, which also started to leak. Now I'm trying this Big Agnes pad. I've been sleeping on it every night for the last week, and so far, it's remained inflated. It's also very comfortable. For winter camping, I'm mostly a side sleeper, so I like the depth of the pad, but when it warms up, I use a light blanket and prefer to sleep on my stomach all spread out, so I like this pad's extra width and length. It does take a while to blow this pad up, but once it's inflated, it's worth it.
