The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Shimano Click'R CT40:
I commute 18 miles round trip to work, and had been using some stiff racing shoes. These are much more comfortable on and off the bike, and I don't feel completely conspicuous when I decide to cut my ride short at a bar or restaurant.
The tradeoff is that the sole is more flexible than the more specialized shoe, but for my use it hasn't impaired my "performance" and the advantages are worth it. I appreciate that even though the shoes are laced, the material of the shoe is just stretchy enough to make slipping my feet in and out of them not-a-chore.
I wear size 12 US, and these are 47s, which seems about right.

Comments about Shimano Click'R CT40:
I bike commute to my office and appointments on a weekly basis. I needed a shoe that is SPD compatible, comfortable, and looks good with street clothes. These were the right choice. SPD components were easy to install. The shoes are also ventilated on the sides. Should work great year-round. I was slightly disappointed that SPD cleats were not included with the shoe.

They are very confortable to wear while biking. I really like the elastic band that holds the shoe strings in place after tieing them.

Comments about Shimano Click'R CT40:
My Shimano MT are getting old with the soles worn out (cleats exposed to the ground) so I need another pair. I tried these on and they walk a lot easier (flex and cushion) and good traction on the street (not necessarily for hiking though). They flex a lot better for walking than the mountain biking shoes. Although still stiff enough for cycling, they're less efficient. That's fine since these are for walking and biking combo. Once thing I noticed is that I am size 10.5 and it seems a size too big. It looks like I'll need a size 44 or even 43. I was surprised that the first review said that he is size 10.5 and 45 fits perfectly. This is why I highly recommend you try these shoes on first. Don't just take my word for it.

Comments about Shimano Click'R CT40:
I purchased these shoes because I needed a good SPD shoe that I could also walk in. My commute involves a ferry and I was sick of walking on and off the boat in stiff mountain biking shoes. These definitely do the trick. They ride well and walk well and look casual. I was somewhat concerned about riding in a laced shoe, but the little loop you tuck the laces into works well. I wear a 10.5 men's and purchased the 45 and they fit just fine. These don't seem to run small like so many others. I have had these for several weeks with no complaints. I also took them off road on my mountain bike recently and they performed well.
