    Comments about SureFire E2D Defender Flashlight:

    So I've wanted a Surefire for years, but couldn't justify the price until I stumbled upon the benefits of being an REI member. Even with the discount, this is a spendy flashlight, but considering how well it's made, and that it is made right here in the US it's worth it.

    Sadly as of late this thing has ended up in the diaper bag, but that's mainly due to my trips revolving around my kid and not a knock on this light. It's high setting is great for seeing long distances and its low maximizes battery life and is still as bright as a mag light.

    There are cheaper lights out there, but if you want the best, and support US jobs buy Surefire.
