I don't like tight neck openings - this is open but not gaping - really perfect. Lays smooth while I wear a pack. It is long enough that it stays down over my shorts or skirt - doesn't bunch up under my hip belt. The material is stretchy. I am 5'4" and 135lbs. I am small in the torso and usually wear a small or petite small top, but the medium fit perfectly. If I wore a medium, I'd get a large. It clings to the body, but is not tight. This will be my go-to shirt in the summer, and a baselayer in the winter.
