Took it out of the box and wore it the entire day. Very comfortable. True to size. The seams on the sides require some getting used to -- that's the reason I said, "break in" time required. It's classic Keen: comfort, style, and comfort!

The shoe fit everywhere except right where the leather meets the footbed toward the back of the shoe. It has sort of a crease that digs into my feet on both sides. No amount of breaking in could soften that. They are going back.

I just bought a pair of these at my local REI store and am amazed at how comfortable they are! We have wood and tile floors throughout most of our home and it hurts my feet to walk around barefoot too much so I was looking for something I could easily slip on around the house. But these are beautiful too! I expect I'll even be wearing them out to dinner and to church this summer! I have wide feet and love Keen shoes because they accommodate my feet. In my Keen Targhee 2 hiking shoes I wear a size 10 which is a size up from my normal size of 9 1/2 but in these I'm wearing a 9 1/2 so I'd say they are truer to size. My wide feet love them!
