      Primary reason for buying this was I needed a solution that fit my thicker Manduka mat when it was either 1) rolled up loosely or 2) rolled up with my towel. This rap completely wraps my thick mat with the towel inside, which makes getting a good spot in class easy and fast and gettign out even faster. I used to use a shoulder sling but i found that interfered with my backpack straps and i would eventually carry it in one hand anyway. And when i first started doing yoga years ago i thought a bag was the best solution until I started doing hot yoga. This little rap is fast, simple, easy to clean and lets my mat breath. BONUS: It also makes a perfect impromptu water bottle cover that can lay on top of my Camelbak and keep my water protected the heat.
