This is my second pair of fivefingers. First are KSO's that I have had for 3 years now and still are in good shape. Not sure if these will hold up as long, but if they do they will remain a five star product. They feel really comfortable and fit to the foot much better with the laces than the strap on KSO's. My one foot is slightly smaller than the other and that causes some annoyance, but not the shoes fault. Overall highly happy and would recommend.

I was so excited that there was a new VFF that was a sandal! I could not wait to order these. Well I finally received them and to my disappointment I couldn't even get my foot in them. I am a woman with wider feet and men's shoes usually fit better. My VFF Classics are perfect. But these are very narrow, especially in the area from the ball of your foot to the top of your foot (measuring thickness I guess).

Also, they came with shoe laces attached to the outside. But the quick pull system cannot be removed. If you choose to use the laces, do you have to cut the cord on the quick lace system or wait for it to break? I was confused and could not find any instructions on REI's site or anywhere on the web.

I still have my classics, but I sure do wish I could have another pair of VFF that were a little different and have a thicker sole. =(
