Update after using the pad for a while

Comments about Big Agnes Q-Core SL Sleeping Pad - Mummy:

This is the most comfortable "ultralight" pad
I have used. Not the lightest, but more comfortable than the lightest. It sort of cradles you so the pad doesn't get out from under you at night. I'm thinking it's worth the extra weight for most trips.

It does measure 20 inches wide deflated and about 18 usable inflated.

Comments about Big Agnes Q-Core SL Sleeping Pad - Mummy:

I'm not an Ultra-Light person...more light weight, but this pad stands out. It is comfortable, light and packs small. I've only used it down to the mid-40's, but didn't experience any discomfort at all. I went with the mummy shape to save a bit on weight...and have no regrets.

Nice pad, but be mindful of specs

Comments about Big Agnes Q-Core SL Sleeping Pad - Mummy:

As noted in another review, it is narrower than advertised when inflated. Might be to spec when not inflated... I haven't checked. I'm thin and sleep on my side, so not a problem

Also, mine measured 2+ ounces heavier than spec, even without the stuff sack.

Other than that... very nice pad.

Comments about Big Agnes Q-Core SL Sleeping Pad - Mummy:

I used a Big Agnes insulated Q core and loved it but it was on the heavy side for long distance backpacking. When Big Agnes put the Q Core SL on the market I immediately ordered it. There's one huge problem with it though. It's advertised to be 20 inches wide....but it's only 17 inches wide. When I lay on it my arms fall right off the sides of the pad! Unless your really thin through the shoulders....don't buy this pad.
