Comments about The North Face Bleecker Bike Jacket - Men's:
The best jacket you can buy for cycling. Dries quickly, very breathable, very waterproof.
I LOVE the pockets! 4 total, all zippered, with extra long zipper [reflector] straps. You can easily open/close the pockets with wet gloves and frozen fingers, unlike other jackets I've owned with those tiny zippers. Large one on the back, two side ones, and one breast pocket with mp3 headphones pass-through.
Main zipper easy to use with gloved hands. The only fudge I had with it is the velcro cover for the zipper. Even still, it's not a complaint, because the cover keeps the wind and the rain out, but it's just sometimes difficult to unzip on the go.
The sleeves are extra long when your arms at your sides, so when you're stretched to your handlebars, they're ideal length. Velcro straps on the sleeve openings keep the wind out --for when you're just heading out and still freezing!
The hood is oversized to fit over your helmet, with bunjee ties to adjust size.
There are several cleverly placed reflectors all around the jacket, inconspicuous yet highly visible when they need to be.
Mine easily washes on a Handwash or Delicate cycle, then [hang] dries within a couple hours.
A great part about this is it doubles as a off-the-bike jacket, too --it looks great! I wear it to work all the time and its lightness and breathability are ideal for bus commute.
Definitely recommended. You'll get what you pay for (and more)
