Comments about SIGMA SPORT BC 16.12 Cadence Bike Computer - Wireless:
We bought two for a week-long trip to France. Accurate readings were especially important in measuring distances for cross country navigation and frequent course changes in unknown lands. My Sigma bike computer worked for one and one-half days, then had a complete data meltdown. It began giving readouts that were totally in error (speed 125 kph) or frozen (time not changing). The system would not allow input on the buttons or rebooting by taking the battery out and re-entering. It was a bust.
Marilyn's worked just fine and continued to work when we were back home and switched to our own bikes.
REI, as always, handled the refund courteously, with only one hitch: I was weaving through roads in Provence and the shop was in Denver. Timing couldn't have been worse!
Was this a gift?:
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
