Comments about Oboz Luna Low Hiking Shoes - Women's:
So, I've worn a pair of the sawtooth Oboz "cross trainers" for 2 years. Those feel like hiking shoes (http://www.rei.com/product/800022/oboz-sawtooth-low-cross-training-shoes-womens). In comparison, for this model, I gambled and bought online because the Sawtooth shoes fit so well, and these are SO much more attractive.
They fit well - I haven't gotten them out for a hike yet, but the fit inside the shoe seems consistent - removable insole (fits my orthotics), roomy toebox, true to size. Fit around the heel feels good - not slipping. The bottom of the shoe seems a bit more flexible and springy than the Sawtooth shoes, and certainly has more of a "rolling" feel when you walk than the Sawtooth model.
Side by side, I'd say these feel more like sneakers / cross-trainers, and the Sawtooth feel like hiking shoes with a stiffer, slightly flatter bottom. I'm perplexed by the marketing but enamoured of this model. Much cuter than the Sawtooth. I'll update more once I've worn them for a bit.
