Synthetic mesh uppers are lightweight and quick drying, and offer support and durability; mesh linings are soft against bare feet
Die-cut EVA insoles with AgION™ antimicrobial treatment help keep odor at bay
EVA midsoles absorb shock, cushion feet and provide gentle support
Adjustable heel straps with collapsible backs let you wear these with neoprene booties or socks if you choose

I like the look of the shoe and it is light as a feather. It runs VERY big. I was planning to take it on my trip to Vietnam for getting in and out of the boats but I don't think it will be comfortable to walk in for long distances.

I love Salomon trail shoes for their ample room in the forefoot area and great arch support. Unfortunately, these Amphib shoes have neither. They are somewhat narrower than expected in the ball of the foot area, and there is no arch support whatsoever. A strong arch is a must for me. Otherwise, they are lightweight and seemed comfortable. I cannot describe how functional or durable they are because they are going back.
