      I have used this on several day hikes and lunch hour walks. It is very lightweight but warm, provides just enough wind barrier without making me hot. The only thing I would change is pockets for your hands. Other than that, it fits true-to-size (fitted) and the material feels great.

        For me, this jacket is perfect for a blustery day or one with a few sprinkles of rain. I purchased the Arc'teryx along with M.....Wind Jacket. The Arc'teryx has a better quality zipper, a sturdier feel, and is more breathable than my husband's M..... Wind Jacket. Best jacket purchase this season.

        I am 5'1" with a 'healthy' 160 lb. build. Although the jacket arms are a bit long the size XL fit perfect

          The fabric is great. Lightweight and stylish for around-town use. The only cons are: the front pocket is sewn backwards compared to other wind jackets, meaning it is sewn so items are pushed towards your back rather than down and front like traditional jacket pockets; the photo on this website is misleading. The jacket appears to be designed to drop down to almost hip level. It does not. The fit is to just below the waist.
