Comments about Ibex Duo Bike Shorts - Men's:
I got a pair of "Ibex El Fito 3/4 Bike Tights" as a gift for cold weather riding and I liked them so much that I bought a pair of these shorts for warm weather riding. I was not disappointed.
I commute 20 miles daily and wear these shorts during the warm weather months. The wool is very soft. These shorts are breathable, quick drying and comfortable. Most of all they are super durable. I have been wearing these for almost 4 years and they still look like new. They are definitely worth the money.

Comments about Ibex Duo Bike Shorts - Men's:
It's common to hear people talk about wool as scratchy, for cold weather-only, or in some way inferior to synthetics. And the opposite is true on these--and many more--definitions.
I'm a furnace, more able to stay warm exercising in 30 degrees than to not overheat at a temperature as low as 75 degrees. So I'm very sensitive to whether a garment promotes temperature regulation, and after almost two decades of riding, hiking and backpacking in synthetics, I began switching to merino garments--from socks to briefs to pants to shirts to hats and gloves--about 10 years ago.
From Texas' summers to breaking trail in hip-deep snow in Colorado, Ibex' products--including the four pairs of Duo Shorts I currently own--have done an extraordinary job of providing comfort not just when the temps drop, but, more importantly, when they go up.
The 3-D pad is effective, even if I still prefer a chamois. But, road to mountain, I've worn these shorts for eight years and they remain near new, comfortable for an hour or six in the saddle.
I say, throw off the yoke of synthetic delusion and embrace the future of outdoor clothing...start by buying these shorts and prove it to yourself.
